HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION IN KLAMATH COUNTY

On April 21st, 2025, at approximately 4:30 PM, Klamath County 911 received a report of a deceased individual at the location of 42.36029, -121.40354 (Hootowl off Kodiak Lane in Bonanza, Oregon).

The victim has been identified as Donald Hadfield, DOB 9/4/1968.

Following an initial investigation, it was determined that Mr. Hadfield’s death was not due to natural causes. As a result, the Klamath County Major Crime Team was activated. This team is comprised of members from the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO), the City of Klamath Falls Police Department (KFPD), Oregon State Police (OSP), and the Klamath County District Attorney’s Office.

At this time, suspect information is limited. Investigators are currently seeking a white male adult in connection with this case. Further details are under active investigation.
