CREWS FIGHTING BRUSH FIRE NEAR I-5 IN EUGENE

Eugene, OR.  Eugene Springfield Fire is actively engaged in fighting a brush fire on North Game Farm Rd. Crews were initially called at 5:35 PM on July 2nd to reports of smoke and fire from an area homeless encampment off N Game Farm Rd.  Firefighters arrived to find a 1/2 acre wind driven fire and are actively working to extinguish the fire.  Coburg Fire District is providing mutual aid support.  Motorists are asked to avoid the area of N Game Farm during the response.
