UPDATE: VICTIM IN DEADLY HIT-AND-RUN CRASH IDENTIFIED

The individual killed in a hit-and-run crash on December 25, 2023, has been identified as David Wayne Becker, 63, of Portland.

The investigation into the recent hit-and-run fatal crash at Southeast Stark Street at Southeast 106th Avenue has revealed a suspect vehicle description, and investigators are releasing a photo in an effort to prompt tips about its location.
Traffic Crash Investigators believe the suspect was driving a late 2000s or mid-2010 Dodge Ram pickup truck with a crew cab (4 full size doors), maroon in color. The vehicle had a broken driver’s side headlight assembly and damage to the front driver’s side corner from the crash. See attached photos.
