POLICE INVESTIGATING FATAL HIT-AND-RUN
Gresham, Ore.—A hit-and-run traffic crash resulted in Gresham’s first traffic fatality this year. At approximately 3:30 a.m., Gresham police officers and medical personnel responded to a report of a person who had been struck by at least 2 vehicles and was down in the road at Burnside and N Main Ave. Officers and medical personnel arrived and determined that the person was deceased. No vehicles remained at the scene of the crash.
The East Multnomah County Vehicular Crimes Team (VCT) was called to the scene to investigate the crash. Burnside Rd. was closed in both directions between N Main Ave. and Eastman Pkwy. until just after 8:00 a.m.
