GRESHAM POLICE INVESTIGATING HOMICIDE

Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred this afternoon in Gresham. Our officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 16400 block of NE Glisan St. shortly after 4 p.m. They found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. The gunshot victims were transported to a local hospital, along with a third person who was injured during the disturbance.
One of the gunshot victims died at the hospital. They are not being identified at this time, pending notification of their next of kin.
The East County Major Crimes Team is conducting the investigation. We believe there were multiple witnesses to the events that led up to the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call our tip line at 503-618-2719.
