UPDATE- STOLEN VEHICLE IN SOUTH COUNTY LEADS TO SUSPECT ELUDING LAW ENFORCEMENT

On October 24th, 2023, at approximately 1804 hours, Mr. Maxfield contacted the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office and surrendered to authorities. Mr. Maxfield was taken into custody without further incident.

Arrested: Joshua Maxfield, 33 year old La Pine male

Charges: UUMV, Reckless Endangering Another, Reckless Driving, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police Officer and Attempted Assault of a Peace Officer
