SWIMMER'S BODY LOCATED AT HENRY HAGG LAKE

This morning, July 26, 2022, Washington County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol deputies resumed their search for the missing swimmer. Deputies were assisted by Lake Oswego Fire Department’s Dive Team and the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 11:00 a.m., divers from the Lake Oswego Fire Department located the body of the missing swimmer in Henry Hagg Lake, near The Peninsula Trail Head. The Washington County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene to conduct their investigation and will determine the cause of death. 

Investigators said there is no initial indication that foul play was involved in the swimmer’s death.

The swimmer’s name and age will be released once his family has been notified.
