Multiple Vehicle Accident on Interstate 5 Hugo

6/21/22, 14:00 hrs. (HUGO) -- A multi-vehicle crash snarled traffic on Interstate 5 Southbound at Exit 66.  In all, several passenger vehicles, a semi-truck, a pickup hauling an excavator, and a log truck that overturned, were all casualties of the incident. The crash scene extended north and south of the overpass. 

After an evaluation by Rural Metro Fire and AMR, it was determined everyone involved refused medical treatment.  

ODOT and several towing companies worked quickly to open the freeway, and all lanes were restored before 3pm.  OSP is investigating the cause.
