OSP TROOPERS SEIZED SUSPECTED METHAMPHETAMINE, HEROIN AS WELL AS OTHER ILLEGAL ITEMS- MALHEUR COUNTY

On February 9, 2022, an OSP Trooper stopped a vehicle for a cell phone violation. The driver had a nationwide US Marshall's warrant for Amphetamine sales. Additional indicators of criminal activity were observed, including loaded syringes of suspected methamphetamine. The driver was lodged on the warrant.
The next day, on February 10, 2022, OSP Detectives served a search warrant on the vehicle and located a loaded 9mm handgun, 645.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 104.7 grams of suspected heroin, 61 dosage units of Suboxone, $4955 in US Currency, and approximately 2.3lbs of marijuana.
The driver was also a convicted felon.
