Oregon State Police Drug Detection K-9 & his handler strike again Linn County
On January 17, 2022, an Oregon State Police Trooper and his K9 partner “Titan” stopped a vehicle on I-5 near milepost 224 in Linn County for a speed violation. During the traffic stop the driver, an adult male, was contacted. While the trooper was conducting the investigation, he observed signs of criminal activity. A consent search of the vehicle revealed 3 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, which was located in the trunk of the car.
Also in the vehicle, was the driver’s ten and six year old daughters. The juveniles were taken into protective custody and later released to an aunt. The driver was taken into custody and the investigation is ongoing.
