Highway 38 Fire

Firefighters from CFPA, DFPA, and local RFD’s with the help of several aircraft were able to halt the spread of the Hwy 38 Fire at around 15 acres. Fire crews will be working to complete control lines and secure the fire throughout the night, with additional fire resources ordered to continue this effort over the next few days. Cause of the fire is under investigation. 

This fire is a reminder to the public of how dry conditions are and the importance of following fire prevention guidelines.
