UPDATE: Homicide Investigation in Winston

Detectives say that 24-year-old Nicholas David Lehman-Helmke of Winston and 31-year-old Benny Alexander Stallings of Roseburg died at the scene after being shot by 34-year-old Savino David DeSantiago of Winston. The victims were known to DeSantiago.
Following the shooting, DeSantiago reportedly drove past another residence on Peach Street honked his horn then began firing into the home through a window before fleeing.
DeSantiago is currently lodged in the Douglas County Jail for Murder. Additional charges are pending.
