Single vehicle fatal crash on Interstate 84 - Malheur County

On Saturday, February 23, 2019 at approximately 6:25 P.M. Oregon State Police and emergency personnel responded to the report of a single vehicle crash on Interstate 84 near milepost 371.
Preliminary investigation reveals that a 1999 Plymouth Van, operated by Domingo Hernandez (29) of Caldwell, ID. was westbound when the vehicle went into the median, across the eastbound lanes, and down an embankment.
Hernandez sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
OSP was assisted by Ontario Fire and Rescue, Treasure Valley Paramedics, and ODOT.
