Closure Update- Oregon 138E between MP 17-60 (just east of Glide to Lower Toketee) is closed due to heavy snow, downed trees and power lines. Use alternate state highways, but expect severe winter driving conditions over the Cascade mountain passes.

Expect winter driving conditions along the I-5 corridor and state highways in Douglas County due to wet, heavy snow tonight. Snow is falling and sticking from Cottage Grove south to Canyonville on the interstate, as well as coastal mountain highways such as Oregon 38, 42 and 138W.
Oregon 138 east of Roseburg in the High Cascades has seen minor rock slides at lower elevations to heavy snow, with power outages in the higher elevations toward Diamond Lake.
Motorists should:
Drive to the conditions- that means slow down
Increase following distance
Have chains or traction tires
Be prepared for delays
Consider delaying travel until conditions improve, especially on Oregon 138E
