Male dies of gunshot wound

On January 26, 2019 at 10:54 pm McMinnville Officers responded to a shooting complaint at a residence in the 1200 block of NE 10th Avenue McMinnville, OR. Officers found a 35 year old resident of Dayton, OR dead from a single gunshot wound. Those on scene have been cooperating with the police and no one is currently outstanding. There does not appear to be any danger to the public as a result of this incident. No further information will be released at the moment.
The McMinnville Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Oregon State Police, Newberg-Dundee Police Department, Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office and the Yamhill County District Attorney’s Office.
